How to Prepare

A certain amount of research will be necessary in order to insure an optimal experience. Though we are cognizant of the fact we cannot be as demanding of our delegates as we are at a high school level, delegates will still be expected to bring at least a basic cursory knowledge of their country as well as to have a general idea of their policy on their assigned issue. Each issue will have a guide with several research questions to help the delegate begin. The benefits to doing the research are two-fold: delegates that come prepared will gain a great deal more from their time spent at the conference; and research skills are a valuable asset that will serve delegates well as they get older and proceed through high school and college.
