FMSMUN's educational mission cannot be fulfilled successfully without the invaluable assistance provided by the conference organ specifically dedicated to research and direct academic support for committees, Home Government. Home Government political officers are tasked with assisting delegates by answering relevant policy questions, undertaking research requests by delegates and committee directors, and making informed presentations to committees about the topics. FMSMUN's Home Government Staff is larger than those featured at other conferences because their responsibilities and duties are far more extensive. The Home Government office will be located near the meeting rooms for the substantive committees and delegates should expect to see Home Government political officers answering questions and portraying missing delegates and expert speakers throughout the conference.
